a corporate event in Paris, France or anywhere in the world. Please contact
us for more information.
Historic,
economic, artistic and cultural capital of France, Paris understandably
remains the most visited city in the world, rich in museums, monuments
and curiosities of all kinds, it is also a city where it is good just to
stroll. A great venue, which has many new and exciting venues opening,
Paris has always had that certain something and is now
reasonable value too if you select the right venue.
Activity wise, delegates
will enjoy treasure hunts, wine tasting, or a trip on the Seine; and of
course there is The Louvre, Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower.
Proximity to London means
a choice of air, rail (Eurostar) or road access.
The Ile-de-France region
which includes Paris and seven other departments, is a true paradise for
visitors, and offers beautiful surprises: visits to castles, romantic
cruises, walks through the countryside, introduction to golf... the Ile-de-France
is a cultural gold-mine.
The chateaux breathe
elegance and beauty. Versailles, Fontainebleau, Vincennes, Saint-Germain-en-Laye,
Vaux-le-Vicomte... monuments abound and museums can be counted by the
hundred. Religious masterpieces are everywhere: Royaumont, Maubuisson,
and Saint-Denis while the gentle landscapes and villages of the Ile-de-France
have inspired a great many artists. A dense network of public transport
allows free and easy movement.
Provence-Alpes-Cote
d'Azur
A
land of colours, from the ochre cliffs of the Luberon to the fiery red
mountains of the Esterel, and stretching to the snowy peaks of the
Southern Alps ski stations , this is a many-faceted region.
It is also an area full of
history: The many remains bear witness to the region's rich and ancient
past. The Roman arenas in Arles and Frejus, the Glanum site in Saint-Remy-De-Provence
and Vaison-La-Romaine, and also Marseille, all conserve extremely
beautiful relics from ancient times. The Cistercian and Benedictine
abbeys remind us that Provence was once a major religious centre.
Earthenware crafts from
Moustiers, olive oil from the Baux-De-Provence and well known wines such
as Chateauneuf-Du-Pape C?te du Rh?ne, C?te de Provence, the santons
from Aubagne, and the lavender from the high country indicate long
traditions. The art of good eating is one of the most important
traditions in the region, and Proven?al gastronomy has truly become a
major attraction. Van Gogh, Gauguin, C?zanne, Pagnol, Giono all
recognised the natural beauty of the region.
Riviera
- Cote d'Azur
From the Mediterranean
seaside to the very peaks of the Maritime Alps, the Riviera reveals its
countless attractions in every season. Nice, with its old city and the
Promenade des Anglais, Menton and its baroque architectural heritage
and, the elegant resort towns of Cannes and St Tropez and close by
Monte-Carlo provide wonderful opportunities for the perfect conference
or incentive.
This important destination
for conferences and incentives boast facilities of a very high standard.
Flight time from London is just two hours with a transfer time to hotels
of around 35 minutes. The short flight time means that Go and Easyjet
offer cost-effective access.
All year long, continuous
events make the Riviera a life-size stage, the biggest in the world.
International festivals such as the International Cannes Film Festival,
the Carnival of Nice, and traditional celebrations (Fete des Mais,
Medieval Festival in Haut-de-Cagnes, Chestnut Festival in Isola) draw
enthusiastic followers.
The area is very popular
so there is a real need to book well in advance. St Tropez hotels tend
to close during the winter.
Aquitaine
This region is a myriad of
different lands: Perigord, Gascony, Guyenne, Armagnac, Bearn, and Basque
country all make for the extraordinary diversity of the Southwest.
Facing the Bay of Biscay, Aquitaine, a land of space has the natural
borders of the Atlantic Ocean with its warm Gulf Stream waters and The
Pyrenees, which it shares with Spain.
A single common thread
among this diversity is an authentic art de vivre and celebratory nature
that comes from the climate and an exceptionally rich history. The very
cradle of prehistory is right in the heart of the Perigord.
The coastline, an immense
beach of 250 km, is a source of joy to swimmers and also surfers with
the best spots in Europe. Golf, skiing, climbing and hiking, are all
equally accessible to those who enjoy sports, while thalassotherapy, the
thermal baths, riverside tourism waterways, historical and gastronomic
mean one can discover the many facets of this unique region at just the
right pace.
